Middleware 1.0.2 Released Print E-mail

The latest VMO Middleware version 1.0.2 offers substantial new features leading to significantly increased flexibility and search capabilities. Furthermore, several new data products have been registered and are now accessible through the VMO interface.

Summary of Changes

  • Big redesign of the Query Builder interface and database structure
  • Introduce a foldable Expert Menu
  • Manage query and individual query conditions with Move Up/Down/In/Out, Join, Merge, Delete and Clear commands
  • Highlight conditions in the current query when selected or on mouse over
  • Always remember field values when building a query
  • Implement asynchronous queries
  • Introduce double-column layout for Query Builder
  • Implement Expand All function that fully expands the menu list with available products and restrictions
  • Show elapsed time of query execution on results page
  • XSLT stylesheet for metadata display was updated for SPASE version 1.3.0
